Urban Kitchen, LLC (International Comfort food), Cuban, Mexican and American Southern.
In January 2012, Steve Higdon and Ruben Plasencia had a notion to start a food truck.
This idea had been on the back burner for to long, we decided between the of us we could scrap together
enough money for the start up cost. So the journey began, we were able to put enough cash together to buy
a small 80s waymatic concession trailer (good news / bad news), the trailer was an empty shell and had cool
lines (good news), the low profile of the trailer would prove very challenging to retro fit the plumbing to
meet local code, a much longer than anticipated process, (bad news).
The process has been one obstacle after another, but through the grace of God and determand to never throw
in the towel, and lots of stories to share ... Coming very soon to a street corner near you Urban Kitchen.
